Mobile Notary
Castlewood and Belmar understands the importance of convenience and the need for service that comes to you. We offer evening and weekend hours to accommodate your schedule.

Acknowledgements
An Acknowledgement is when an individual or an individual's representative makes a signed declaration. The role of the notary is to verify the identity and willingness of the signer. The acknowledgement must also be understood and a journal entry is recorded.

Jurat
A jurat is when an individual must take an oath or make an affirmation of the truthfulness of the document. The signature is made with the notary present.
Notarization Checklist
Identification
Acceptable identification includes a state-issued driver's license or ID, a US passport, or a credible witness with valid identification.

Documents
Your document must be complete. All fields must be filled in before notarization. If you have questions about completing your document contact the document issuer.
Fees:

Each notarial act is 5 dollars. For example, 3 notarized documents would be 15 dollars.

A service fee of 25 dollars is charged for each mobile notarization appointment. This rate is for Columbus and surrounding communities only.
Monday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Tuesday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Wednesday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Thursday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Friday: 5:30 pm -10:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 10:00 pm

About The Owner
As a lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio it is an honor to serve my hometown and surrounding communities. I am a 2023 Franklin University graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration. In addition to owning Castlewood and Belmar, I work in education and previously worked as an independent contractor with Franklin County.
